Inspiration der FIREWORK Kollektion ist das Gegenwart und Zukunft in der Klimakrise. Diesmal ist der Spielort Berlin und Umgebung. Sandboden bildet die Grundlage für Farbe und Textur. Doch die Nadeln der außerhalb der Großstadt wachsenden Kiefern verwandeln sich rasend schnell in leuchtend orangene „Blüten“, Waldbrände lassen alles in knallig leuchtende Farben explodieren bevor es nach und nach in grauer Asche verstaubt. Eine bloße Erinnerung an die in Berlin demonstrierenden Menschenmassen bleibt bestehen. Auch hier in einer der Farben des Feuers, kohlige Grau und Schwarztöne.
Eine Endzeitkollektion ist entstanden, die doch auch die Schönheit des letzten Augenblicks feiert. Wann kann mehr der Lebensfreude gedacht werden als am Ende ebendieser?-
Alle Muster unserer Kollektionen entstehen aus eigenen Malereien, die anschließend gedruckt werden. Hier waren Tusche und Aquarelle Grundlage.
Als Hauptmaterialien wurden gewählt: Naturleinen, sandig rau und doch leicht glänzend, edel und doch nicht bezwingbar. Als Gegensatz fließende Lyocellqualitäten, eine heile Welt vorgaukelnd und den Körper schön umspielen.
Zum Hintergrund: Unser Naturleinen wächst in Frankreich und wird in einer einer kleinen Weberei für uns verarbeitet. Es ist Oeko-Tex 100 zertifiziert.
Lyocell ist unser Lieblingsmaterial, da es sehr nachhaltig ist und so schön seidig schimmert und fließt. Lyocell absorbiert mehr Feuchtigkeit als Baumwolle oder Leinen. So kühlt der Stoff bei heißen Tagen und vermindert die Geruchsbildung.
Da die Faseroberfläche extrem glatt ist (viel glatter als beispielsweise die von Baumwolle oder von Kaschmir), ist der Stoff auch bestens für empfindliche Haut geeignet.
Bei Lyocell handelt es sich um eine Cellulosefaser. Die Cellulose wird aus Holz gewonnen und fast alle dafür verwendeten Lösemittel werden in einem Kreislauf wiederverwertet. Da viel weniger Wasser für die Forstwirtschaft gebraucht wird als beispielsweise für den Anbau von Bio-Baumwolle, gilt die Faser als Allround-Talent. Es ist eine der nachhaltigsten Fasern, die man im Moment auf dem Markt finden kann.
Wir verarbeiten nur GOTS-zertifizierte Perlmutt und Steinnüss-Knöpfe aus Deutschland. Auch unsere robusten Reißverschlüsse werden lokal in Deutschland gefertigt.
Inspiration of the FIREWORK collection is the present and future in the climate crisis. This time the location is Berlin and surroundings. Sandy soil forms the basis for color and texture. But the needles of pines growing outside the big city quickly turn into bright orange "blossoms", forest fires let everything explode into bright colors before it slowly turns into grey ashes. A mere memory of the crowds demonstrating in Berlin remains. Here too, in one of the colors of fire, charcoal grey and shades of black. An End Time collection has been created, which at the same time celebrates the beauty of the last moment. When could one reflect more upon the joy of life than at the very end of it?
All prints in our collections are created from our own paintings. Here ink and watercolors were the basis, which were later printed on fabric.

As main materials were chosen: Natural linen, sandy rough but slightly shiny, noble but not defeatable. As a contrast, flowing Lyocell qualities, pretending to be in an ideal world and beautifully embracing the body.
Background: Our natural linen grows in France and is processed for us in a small weaving mill. It is Oeko-Tex 100 certified.
Lyocell is our favorite material because it is very sustainable and shimmers and flows in a silky way. Lyocell absorbs more moisture than cotton or linen. The fabric will cool you down on hot days and reduces odors.
As the fiber surface is extremely smooth (much smoother than cotton or cashmere, for example), the fabric is also ideal for sensitive skin.
Lyocell is a cellulose fiber. The cellulose is extracted from wood and almost all the solvents used for this are reused in a cycle. Since much less water is needed for forestry than for example for the cultivation of organic cotton, the fiber is considered an all-round talent. It is one of the most sustainable fibers currently available on the market.
We only use GOTS-certified mother-of-pearl and Corozo (nut) buttons from Germany. Even our robust zippers are manufactured locally in Germany.
